We can assist you in establishing of a Danish company.
Establishing of a company in Denmark .
When starting up a business in Denmark you would normally either create a private limited liability company (an anpartsselskab abbreviated ApS) or a public limited company (an aktieselskab abbreviated A/S).
The share capital of an ApS is 125,000 DKK (to be reduced to 80,000 DKK expected from beginning of 2010). The share capital must be fully paid into the company. The management of the company can be limited to an appointed director registered with the Registrar of Companies (Erhvervs- og Selskabsstyrelsen abbreviated EogS). The company can be owned by one or more individuals or companies.
The share capital of an A/S is 500,000 DKK. The share capital must be fully paid into the company. The management of the company can be minimum 3 board members and 1 director registered with EogS. The company can be owned by one or more individuals or companies.
We can create both ApS and A/S for you and can also provide management if needed.
The corporate tax rate for a Danish limited liability company is 25 %. Under certain conditions income such as dividends from shares and gains on sale of shares are tax free. This is normally the case if the holding is more than 10 % of a company registered within EU provided that the holding period is more than 1 year.
